The Story of Our Team
Have you ever seen someone that reminded you of a celebrity, athlete, cartoon or friend? Every member of our group has and from this project, continue to do so. Doppelgangers can be seen anywhere and at any time and this app was designed to share those moments with your friends and other MirrorMe users. The MirrorMe app was developed and designed by a team of students at Drake University. Our team includes five dedicated students from a variety of majors who collaborated to create this app with the guidance of our professors and peers. The team includes three computer science majors who function as the "busy bees" behind the app, one designer who functions as the "artist" of the app and one journalist who is the "researcher/ business hat" of the app. The idea for the project came from a faculty member at Drake University in the Spring of 2013 and the team ran with it developing it throughout the course of the semester. As the semester progressed, the app idea and the celebrity knowledge of the group grew tremendously. As students, the MirrorMe app provided our team with a hands on experience building and launching an app, but as students, we love to learn. We would greatly appreciate any feedback that you have as users of our app to help us create a better end product for you. Please feel free to contact us with any problems or ideas that you have for the app. We have learned to love our app and we hope you do too. |
